Honda City Sport Edition Launched In India: Everything You Need To Know

Honda Cars India has launched a new variant of its popular City sedan: the . This new variant sits above the base V trim and will retail at an ex-showroom price of Rs 14.88 lakh. Now the company has revealed the full feature list of this special edition, and as expected, it is a purely cosmetic update. Changes include blacked-out styling elements like a gloss black front grille, black ORVMs, black shark fin antenna, and a sleek boot lid spoiler. A set of grey 16-inch alloy wheels is also part of the package.

Inside, Honda has continued the sporty theme with subtle updates to the cabin. The interior features red ambient lighting, red accents on the dashboard, black upholstery, soft-touch door inserts with red stitching, a black steering wheel also adorned with red stitching, and gloss black trim on the air conditioning vents. The City Sport Edition comes with the Honda Sensing ADAS suite. Three colour options will be available: Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Ride Metallic, and Meteoroid Grey Metallic.

Under the hood, no changes have been made. The City Sport Edition continues with the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options exclusively include a CVT automatic. Hybrid City e:HEV does not get the Sport Edition treatment.
