Hyundai Exter Launched In Two New Grades; ISOFIX Now Standard

Hyundai has launched two new trims for the Exter: the S Smart and SX Smart. These trims are positioned in the middle of the current lineup for this compact SUV. Both grades are available with petrol and CNG engine choices, as well as manual and automatic transmission variants. The addition of these two new trims offers features from the higher-grade models at a more affordable price. Furthermore, Hyundai has announced that the Exter will now come standard with ISOFIX child seat anchor points.

S Smart And SX Smart: Features

The S Smart is equipped with an electric sunroof, LED taillamp, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear AC vents, and LED DRLs. The SX Smart adds a smart key, push-button start, sharkfin Antenna, and projector headlamp. By paying an additional Rs 14,999, you can add a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a rear parking camera.

Hyundai Exter S Smart And SX Smart: Specifications

The new trims of the Exter are offered in both petrol and CNG options. Both variants are equipped with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder engine. In petrol mode, the engine produces 83 hp and 113.6 Nm of peak torque. When running on CNG, it generates 69 hp and 95.2 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, while the petrol variant also offers a 5-speed AMT (Automatic Manual Transmission).
