Hyundai Launches Verna SX+ With Premium Features; Everything You Need To Know

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded its Verna lineup with the launch of the new SX+ variant, aiming to bolster its presence in the premium mid-size sedan segment. Priced at Rs 13.79 lakh for the 6-speed manual and Rs 15.04 lakh for the iVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), the Verna SX+ targets buyers seeking a feature-rich and comfortable driving experience. The SX+ variant is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 143.8 nm of torque. Fuel efficiency is rated at 18.6 km/l for the manual and 19.6 km/l for the iVT version, as per ARAI-certified figures.

Hyundai has equipped the SX+ with several premium features. These include heated and ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, leather seat upholstery, LED headlamps, front parking sensors, and 16-inch alloy wheels. On the safety front, it comes with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), and a rear parking camera.

Alongside the new Verna SX+, HMIL also announced the introduction of a new Wired-to-Wireless Adapter. Priced at Rs 4,500, the adapter enables wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and is compatible with several Hyundai models, including the Verna, Grand i10 NIOS, and Alcazar.
