Financially, the company performed impressively, reporting annual revenues of Rs 691,929 crore, EBITDA of Rs 89,538 crore, and a profit after tax of Rs 56,402 crore. In the fourth quarter alone, revenue shot up to Rs 179,403 crore, and their profit margins improved to 14.1%.

A significant contributor to Hyundai’s success has been their SUVs, which accounted for a whopping 68.5% of their domestic sales. The CRETA, in particular, has stood out, owning over 30% of the midsize SUV market. The recent launch of the CRETA Electric is a smart move towards the electric vehicle market, tapping into the increasing consumer interest in EVs. Looking ahead, Hyundai has ambitious plans, aiming to roll out 26 new products by 2030, 20 of which will be traditional internal combustion vehicles and 6 electric ones. They’re also gearing up to introduce hybrids and eco-friendly powertrains.

Commenting on the Company’s results, Mr. Unsoo Kim, Managing Director said, “FY25 business performance demonstrates our ability to navigate the tides by responding quickly to the ever-changing customer aspirations. Launch of products like CRETA Electric and Alcazar FL along with seamless product refreshments across segments helped us in maintaining our competitive edge. Hyundai’s strong brand presence in key global emerging markets enabled us to endure headwinds and sustain export volumes during the year. The year gone by signifies our resilience in the financial performance by way of sustained revenues & healthy operating margins attributable to improved realisations & effective cost control measures.”
