Kia Carens Clavis Bookings Open Today: India Launch Soon

The will soon be available for sale in India. This model is a more luxurious and better-equipped version of the Carens seven-seater. Kia unveiled the yesterday; today, bookings opened with a token amount of Rs 25,000. The prices for the Carens Clavis are expected to start at Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Carens Clavis is based on the Carens. However, the latter comes with several unique bits. It has an all-new front end, a new set of alloy wheels, revised tail-lamps, and redesigned bumpers. There are several changes inside as well. You’d see a new design for the dashboard, dual-tone upholstery, and a Syros-inspired steering wheel. New features on the Carens Clavis include a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and dual 12.3-inch displays.

The Carens Clavis comes with the same engine options as the Carens. This includes a 115 hp 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, a 160 hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 116 hp 1.5-litre diesel engine. The transmission options include 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and 6-speed torque converter automatic, depending upon which variant you pick.
