Model launch date:

A BS6 Phase-2 compliant version of the Scorpio-N was launched in India on 14 April, 2023.

Feature list:

The updated Scorpio-N features dual-barrel projector LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, C-shaped daytime running lights, new rear lights, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and roof rails. Besides this, Mahindra offers seven paint options with the new Scorpio-N.

Interior and features

In terms of feature list, the fully loaded Scorpio N has AdrenoX connected car technology, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, dual-zone temperature control, an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, and a 12-speaker Sony-sourced sound system, Alexa voice assistant support. It can be had in seven colours, is available in six and seven-seat configurations.

Engine, performance, and specifications: 

The petrol and diesel engines in the Scorpio-N have now been updated to comply with the RDE norms. Powering the new Mahindra Scorpio-N is a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which generates 200bhp and 370Nm (380Nm with AT) and a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel motor that can be opted in two different tunes: 130bhp/300Nm (only with MT) and 172bhp/370Nm (400Nm with AT). Both the engines are mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the SUV also gets a shift-on-fly 4×4 system, called the ‘4Xplor’, with four terrain modes.

Variants:

The new Scorpio-N is available in five variants: Z2, Z4, Z4 4WD Z6, Z8, Z8 4WD and Z8L 4WD.

Safety:

The Scorpio-N has scored a five star rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
