2026 Honda CB750 Hornet with E-Clutch Launched at Rs. 10.49 Lakh

  • Is now Rs. 1.27 lakh more expensive
  • Performance remains unchanged

Honda has launched the 2026 CB750 Hornet in India, with the E-Clutch technology. The updated bike is now priced at Rs. 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs. 1.27 lakh more expensive than before.

The addition of the E-Clutch is the key change with the 2026 update, and this technology should make the bike easier to live with. The system works with electronic actuators inside the clutch case, and they engage and disengage the clutch automatically. This allows riders to move off from a standstill and shift through the gears without using the clutch lever.

For those who prefer manual clutch operation, there’s a manual override feature. The system will make riding in stop-and-go traffic a lot easier, as it reduces the amount of fatigue from constant clutch lever usage. It should also be helpful for newer riders starting on big bikes, too.

Apart from the E-Clutch, the CB750 Hornet remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 755cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 90.5bhp at 9,500rpm and 75Nm of torque at 7,250rpm.

Honda has been working on bringing the E-Clutch technology to more bikes. Recently, the brand launched the Transalp XL750 with the same.
