BYD India has introduced the Sealion 7 Festive Edition, with prices starting at Rs. 50.60 lakh (ex-showroom). This new iteration, limited to just 150 units, is based on the mid-spec Premium variant of the flagship electric SUV. Reports differ slightly on the price premium, with one stating it commands an additional Rs. 50,000 over the standard variant while other reports note a difference of Rs. 70,000 over the standard Premium trim priced at Rs. 49.90 lakh (or Rs. 49.9 lakh). The limited model forms part of the company's 'Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD' campaign.
Interior Upgrades and Exclusive Theme
The primary update on the new variant is a dual-tone tan and black interior theme, replacing the all-black or Tahiti Blue theme from the standard version. This upholstery scheme extends to the Nappa leather seats, dashboard, door trims, and the centre console area, lending a sporty and sophisticated appearance to the cabin.
There are no exterior changes made to distinguish the special run from other standard trims. The vehicle retains a storage capacity of up to 558 litres encompassing both the trunk and frunk.

The model offers a claimed range of 567km on a single charge based on the NEDC test cycle. Acceleration from zero to 100kph is accomplished in a claimed time of 6.7 seconds.
