Defender 110 Prices Drop Up To Rs 34 Lakh Following Local Assembly

Jaguar Land Rover India has lowered prices for the Defender 110 by as much as Rs 34 lakh following the commencement of its domestic assembly. Previously imported fully built, the Defender was the top-selling model for JLR India in FY2026. Alongside the Defender, the company also locally assembles select variants of the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar, Evoque, and Discovery Sport. During the previous fiscal year, the Defender, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sport combined to represent over 80 percent of the brand's total sales in the country.

X-Dynamic HSE 2-litre Turbo-Petrol

The domestically assembled Defender 110 equipped with the 2.0-litre petrol engine now incorporates features valued at up to Rs 6.5 lakh as standard equipment. These items were previously optional extras on the completely imported version.

Standard additions comprise adaptive off-road cruise control, air suspension featuring adaptive dynamics, an interior rearview mirror, three-zone climate control, and an air purifier. Additional factory-fitted items consist of a headlight washer, spare wheel lock, body-coloured spare wheel cover, manual third-row seating, a front centre console refrigerator, and 14-way power-adjustable front seats equipped with heating, cooling, and memory capabilities.

X-Dynamic HSE 3-litre Turbo-Petrol and Diesel

Variants of the Defender 110 powered by the 3.0-litre turbo-petrol and diesel powerplants now receive standard features valued at up to Rs 17 lakh that were previously charged optionally on the imported units. Notable inclusions are 20-inch alloy wheels, illuminated metal treadplates, an electronic active differential featuring torque vectoring, four-way manually adjustable winged headrests, manual slide and recline adjustments for the second row, and heated third-row seats.

Further standard amenities include a suede headliner, three-zone climate control integrated with rear cooling, a Meridian surround sound system, and a head-up display.
