Maruti Suzuki Fronx Prices Raised by Up to Rs. 5,000 on Selected Trims

Maruti Suzuki has implemented a price increase of up to Rs. 5,000 on selected variants of the Fronx, while keeping a substantial portion of the model lineup untouched. This upward price revision impacts both the naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol configurations of the crossover vehicle.

Variant-Wise Price Adjustments

At the entry-level tier, the base Sigma trim experiences this price markup for both its petrol and CNG manual configurations. Moving further up the hierarchy, the Zeta and Alpha versions also become costlier by Rs. 5,000, alongside all turbo-petrol manual and automatic variants.

Conversely, not all versions are subject to this revision. The Delta and Delta Plus trims—encompassing their respective manual, automatic, and CNG variants—maintain their previous price tags without any modifications. Following these adjustments, the complete Fronx range now commands an ex-showroom price span starting at Rs. 6.90 lakh and stretching up to Rs. 12.03 lakh.

Engine Options and Powertrain Details

Beneath the bonnet, the Fronx provides buyers with a selection of two petrol powerplants. The baseline unit is a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor that delivers 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, connected to either a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission. Additionally, the CNG derivative of this same motor churns out 76bhp.

For higher performance tiers, Maruti Suzuki supplies a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine capable of pumping out 99bhp and 148Nm of torque. This forced-induction option can be paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.
