Next-Gen Jeep Compass Teased: Might Not Come To India

A new generation of the is set to arrive soon. The American car maker has confirmed that the new version will debut in Europe by mid-2025. An earlier teaser from the brand provided a glimpse of the SUV’s silhouette, and now a new teaser offers a sneak peek of its front design. Based on these images, it is clear that the new Compass will share its aesthetic features with the Grand Cherokee.

In October 2024, Jeep shared a teaser confirming that the new Compass will feature a boxy silhouette with sharp body lines. This design will give the new Compass a more upright and imposing appearance than the current model. The new teaser reveals the front grille and headlights, which are notably slimmer than those on the existing version and bear a resemblance to the Grand Cherokee in several ways.

Next-Generation Jeep Compass: Powertrain

Although Jeep hasn’t revealed many details about the new Compass, it has confirmed that the SUV will offer multiple powertrain options, including mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. Additionally, there will be an all-electric variant of the new Compass. Staying true to the Jeep brand, the next-generation Compass will also come equipped with four-wheel drive.

Jeep has not made any official announcements about the debut of the new Compass in India. The current model available in our country has not generated significant sales for Jeep. Some reports suggest that the American car manufacturer might forgo the launch of the updated Compass in India due to the low sales figures of the existing model, as the costs associated with introducing the new model may not be financially feasible.
