Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350 and Goan Classic 350 made post August 2025 get free Gear Position Indicator

The Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350 and Goan Classic 350 made post August 2025 will be fitted with a gear position indicator for free.

Royal Enfield has temporarily halted the addition of gear position indicators in 2025, owing to the shortage of rare-earth materials required for the part. Now that supply has been restored, Royal Enfield is fitting the Gear Position Indicator at authorised service centers.

The bikes that qualify for this update can be identified on the basis of the VIN number. Customers can also contact their local service centre to install the part, if their bike falls in said period of manufacture.

The Gear Position Indicator is a great way to keep track of which gear the bike is being ridden in at a particular time. It helps the rider ride the bike in the most optimal way, especially if the said rider is new to motorcycling.
