Tata Altroz Facelift Teased Ahead Of Launch: Big Updates Coming

Tata Motors has dropped a teaser for the updated Altroz, and it looks like the hatchback is getting a proper glow-up. The facelifted version will be officially unveiled on May 9, with sales kicking off from May 22.

Design-wise, the Altroz gets a fresh new look. Up front, there are sleek LED headlamps with a new DRL signature, a revised grille, and a sharper bumper that now features integrated LED fog lamps. Around the back, you’ll spot new connected LED tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. Tata’s even added cool retractable door handles and stylish new alloy wheels to give it a more modern vibe.

Altroz Facelift Will Likely Get A Bigger Touchscreen

Inside, the update will likely include a new upholstery, soft-touch materials, and a more premium feel overall. The facelift is also expected to bring in a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen, a new digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera, features which were seen on new Tata cars such as the Nexon. Punch and Tiago.

2025 Altroz Will Continue With Same Engine Options

Under the hood, nothing will change—Tata will stick with the same engines: an 86 hp 1.2-litre petrol, 110 hp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and a 90 hp 1.5-litre diesel. A 5-speed manual will be standard across all engines, with the NA petrol featuring a 7-DCT option.
