Updated Yezdi Scrambler Expected to launch on April 23

  • Will be lighter than outgoing bike
  • Updates to the engine expected
  • Will get new colours

The 2026 Yezdi Scrambler is expected to go on sale in India on April 23. The bike is due for an update and is likely to receive a comprehensive one at that.

The current Yezdi Scrambler tips the scales at 182kg, which is pretty heavy for a bike that is supposed to be ridden off the beaten path as well. Yezdi is expected to shave some weight off the bike, mostly by fitting lighter parts. There is likely to be some changes to the engine as well. All in all, Yezdi may be looking to reduce the weight by 10-odd kg.

Besides a lighter bike, Yezdi is also likely to revamp the features list to bring it up to speed with the competition, namely the Royal Enfield Scram 440.

Visually, Yezdi is expected to add a new windscreen and play around with the colours and graphics to add a more fresh appeal. Whether Yezdi goes the whole mile and changes the looks of the scrambler, like it did on the Yezdi Adventure, remains to be seen.

On the back of the reduced prices due to the lower GST and an updated motorcycle, Yezdi will be hoping to see the new Scrambler sell in larger numbers.
