Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Bookings Open: Engine Specs, Colours Revealed

Volkswagen India has opened bookings for the Tiguan R-Line in India. The German automaker shared this information through an official press statement. The details related to the bookings of the Tiguan R-Line are available on Volkswagen India’s official website. Interested buyers can either visit a Volkswagen showroom or the automaker’s website to book the Tiguan R-Line.

Alongside sharing the booking details for the Tiguan R-Line, Volkswagen has also revealed the upcoming SUV’s engine specifications. The Tiguan R-Line will feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. It will produce 204 hp and 320 Nm of peak torque. Power will go to all four wheels through a 7-speed DSG gearbox assisted by Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. The brand claims the Tiguan R-Line will reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 229 km/h.

The Tiguan R-Line will be available in six shades: Red, Blue, Black, White, Green, and Silver. The sporty SUV will measure 4539 mm in length, 1859 mm in width, and 1656 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2680 mm. Volkswagen’s website shared images that give a sneak peek at the interior of the Tiguan R-Line. In terms of tech, this SUV will come with a 12.9-inch floating touchscreen and a 10.3-inch digital driver’s display.
