The 2026 Ducati Monster is set to go on sale in India soon. We expect the street naked motorcycle to be available around August-September. The Ducati Monster is one of the most venerable nameplates in the motorcycle world, and for 2026, it gets a host of changes.

The design of the new Ducati Monster is notably more athletic than the outgoing bike, especially with the cuts and creases all around. The oval LED headlight, the exposed engine area and the sleek tail section add to the visual appeal of the Monster.

Moving to the heart of the matter, the new Monster is powered by a 890cc, V-twin motor that produces 109.4bhp at 9000rpm and 91Nm at 7250rpm. The power figures are lower than the outgoing model’s 937cc L-Twin which made 110bhp and 93.5Nm. That said, this new engine is lighter by around 5kg and meets stringent emission standards.

The engine sits inside an aluminium monocoque frame, suspended by a Showa 43mm USD and a Showa monoshock that’s adjustable for preload.

As expected, there is a comprehensive electronics suite, including a quickshifter, ride modes, traction control and more.

The Ducati Monster has always been priced at the premium end of the scale with respect to the competition. We expect the 2026 Ducati Monster to be priced around Rs 14 lakh while the Monster Plus should set you back by an additional Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000.
