The 2026 Yezdi Scrambler arrives with comprehensive updates, including a lighter chassis, revised electronics, and a heavily reworked 334cc Katar engine. The changes make it smoother, more agile, and easier to live with than its predecessor, although a few shortcomings remain.

Build quality has improved, although the fit and finish still isn’t at par with premium rivals like the Triumph Scrambler 400 X.

The 813mm seat, wide handlebar, and supportive saddle make the bike comfortable for most riders. Standing ergonomics are good too. However, the high-set footpegs create a slightly cramped riding position, while the firm rear suspension affects ride comfort over bad roads.

The revised 334cc engine feels noticeably smoother, with strong low-end and mid-range performance. Vibrations are well controlled, although the engine still sounds a bit gruff.

Thanks to an 8kg weight reduction, the Scrambler feels lighter, more agile, and far more enjoyable through traffic and corners.

The Scrambler remains capable on gravel roads and light trails. Its torquey engine, 19-inch front wheel, and block-pattern tyres inspire confidence off-road. The new Off-road mode further improves the experience by allowing greater rear-wheel slip for better control on loose surfaces.

The biggest upgrade is the addition of traction control, three ride modes, and dual-channel ABS with three intervention modes. It also gets full-LED lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, and USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports.

Overall, the 2026 Yezdi Scrambler is a significantly improved motorcycle, with a more refined engine, lighter handling, and a richer feature list. While there are still a few rough edges, it is now a far more compelling scrambler than before.
