2027 Honda CB300F Twister Launched in Brazil

Honda has launched the 2027 CB300F Twister in Brazil, bringing a series of visual and feature updates to its lightweight street motorcycle. The new model continues with a 293.5cc single-cylinder engine, and importantly, retains the ability to run on both petrol and ethanol.

The 2027 Honda CB300F Twister is available in Brazil in two variants, with prices starting at BRL 26,880, equivalent to around Rs. 4.93 lakh. The motorcycle is currently sold in select Latin American markets, and there is no confirmation from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India regarding its return to the Indian market.

For 2027, Honda has given the CB300F Twister a visual update while retaining the basic silhouette of the motorcycle. The most noticeable change is the new fuel tank, which gets a more muscular design and sharper tank extensions. The headlight assembly has also been redesigned, although it continues to use LED lighting.

The motorcycle is offered in two variants. The ABS version is available in Red and Black, while the S variant gets a more elaborate multi-tone paint scheme with blue as the dominant colour. The S variant also gets sportier graphics and a removable rear seat cowl.

The 2027 Honda CB300F Twister continues with USD front forks, along with disc brakes at both ends. Safety equipment includes dual-channel ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The motorcycle also gets LED lighting and a fully digital LCD instrument console.

Honda has added its HISS (Honda Ignition Security System), which is essentially an engine immobiliser feature that uses a coded key to prevent unauthorised ignition. A Type-C charging port is also part of the equipment list.

Powering the CB300F Twister is a 293.5cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, oil-cooled engine. The motor produces 24.5bhp on petrol, while its output rises marginally to 24.7bhp when running on ethanol. Peak torque stands at 25.6Nm on petrol and 26.2Nm on ethanol. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. The flex-fuel capability is particularly relevant for the Brazilian market, where ethanol is widely available as an automotive fuel.

The Honda CB300F was introduced in India in 2022 but was eventually discontinued after failing to generate the expected demand. The updated CB300F Twister could, however, make an interesting comeback if Honda decides to re-enter the 250-300cc naked motorcycle segment.
