The Indian sports bike market is set to see a new entrant soon. A new fully-faired 450cc bike with twin-cylinder was spotted testing in India recently. This bike is most likely based on BMW-TVS’ co-developed 450cc platform. Why it matters for Indian bike buyers is because this particular spotting hints at an upcoming sub-500cc supersport model which will likely be positioned above the Apache RR 310 as well as below premium middleweight models. From the spy images, you can notice the production-ready bodywork along with hardware components aligned with BMW F 450 GS. The update suggest we will soon get a high-performance faired motorcycle in the accessible premium segment. This will expand choices between single-cylinder 300cc offerings and expensive 600cc class imports.
