  • The rear drum brake has been replaced with a disc
  • Select variants have also received keyless ignition

Vespa has updated the Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S for 2026 with more modern features and an improved hardware package. The key upgrade is the inclusion of a new rear disc brake, replacing the earlier drum unit. It uses a 220mm disc with a dual-piston calliper and works alongside the front brake and ABS to improve braking performance.

Both scooters continue with 50cc, 125cc, and 150cc petrol engines, along with electric variants. The electric range includes a speed-limited ‘Moped’ version capped at 45kmph. In terms of features, all variants, except the 50cc models, now get keyless ignition. A new LCD instrument cluster has been added, while the Primavera Tech retains its TFT display with smartphone connectivity via Vespa MIA (optional on other variants).

Design updates include new five-spoke 12-inch wheels for both models. The Sprint S gets a revised front grille, while the Primavera features minor styling tweaks to look swankier. Overall, the 2026 update brings safety improvements and added convenience features without major mechanical changes. In India, the Vespa Primavera and Sprint models aren’t available.
