Bajaj Pulsar N125 Discontinued in India

Bajaj Pulsar N125 Discontinued in India

  • Dealer stopped receiving stock a few months ago
  • Discontinuation attributed to low demand
  • It is yet to be taken off the official website

Bajaj seems to have discontinued the Pulsar N125 in India. As per our dealer sources, they stopped receiving stock of the motorcycle a few months back. Although the motorcycle is still listed on the brand’s official website, it is just a matter of time before it’ll be taken down.

The main reason for the discontinuation is consistently low sales of the motorcycle. The Pulsar brand is built upon its butch and muscular visual appeal, which can be seen in every model carrying that iconic name. The N125, however, featured a very sporty yet slender and compact bodywork, taking away from the identity that the Pulsar brand stood for. It certainly did not strike a chord among 125cc premium commuter buyers.

Now, Bajaj has a history of discontinuing products but bringing them back later, either with subtle updates or without changing anything. Whether the Pulsar N125 has been permanently taken off the shelf or an updated version is in the works, only time will tell. As of now, Bajaj caters the 125cc segment with two products – Pulsar 125 and the sportier NS125. While the former starts from Rs. 81,556, the latter’s entry-level variant costs Rs. 94,188 (both prices are ex-showroom).
