Ather Rizta Prices Marginally Increased

  • The entry-level variant is Rs. 3,000 more expensive
  • Higher variants have gotten dearer by Rs 4,000

Ather Energy has increased the prices of its family-oriented electric scooter, the Rizta, and the new prices are applicable from 1 June, 2026. While the entry-level S variant with a smaller 2.9kWh battery pack has gotten dearer by Rs. 3,000, the higher-spec Z variants, and the S variant with a bigger 3.7kWh battery, have become Rs. 4,000 more expensive. The reason for the price revision is most certainly the recent increment in raw materials and production costs, which seems to be responsible for price hikes from other brands as well.

The latest starting price (ex-showroom) of each variant is mentioned below:

S (2.9kwh) – Rs. 1,21,046

Z (2.9kwh) – Rs. 1,39,045

S (3.7kwh) – Rs. 1,43,547

Z (3.7kwh) – Rs. 1,59,046

The 2.9kWh variant of the Rizta offers a true range of 105km, while the bigger 3.7kWh battery is claimed to have a true range of 125km. The battery packs come with a five-year/60,000km warranty as standard. Ather adds that it has an IP67 rating.

The Rizta has a pretty comprehensive list of features. The Z variant gets a seven-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. The S trim, meanwhile, gets the ‘deepview’ LCD display that’s seen on the Ather 450S. It gets two ride modes only, Smart Eco or SE and Zip, and the claimed top speed of the electric scooter is 80kmph. Other features include auto hold, reverse mode, and ‘magic twist’ wherein one can slow down the scooter using regen without the need to apply the brakes.
