BYD India Announces Pricing For Sealion 7 SUV

BYD India has released pricing details for its latest offering, the Sealion 7 SUV. The vehicle is available in two variants, Premium and Performance, with prices starting at Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries are scheduled to begin on March 7, 2025.

The variant-wise ex-showroom prices for the BYD Sealion 7 are as follows:

• BYD Sealion 7 Premium – Rs 48.90 lakh
• BYD Sealion 7 Performance – Rs 54.90 lakh

Both Sealion 7 variants are equipped with an 82.56kWh battery pack. The Premium variant boasts a claimed driving range of 567km, while the Performance variant offers a range of 542km. The Performance version delivers a maximum power output of 523bhp and a peak torque of 690Nm, achieving a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds.

The BYD Sealion 7 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of technology features, including a 15.6-inch rotatable infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a digital instrument panel, a heads-up display, a 12-speaker sound system, a panoramic glass roof, a 50W wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 360-degree camera.

The Sealion 7 boasts a 520-litre cargo space, expandable to 1,789 litres with the rear seats folded. A 58-litre front trunk (frunk) adds further practicality, a common feature in electric vehicles. Safety is prioritized with 11 airbags, and a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) including blind spot detection, forward collision warning, intelligent cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
