CEAT Ladakh Enduro Park Sets India and Asia Book of Records

CEAT has announced that its Ladakh Enduro Park in Leh has achieved two records in the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records as Asia’s highest-altitude motorcycle training arena. The recognition was announced at a ceremony held at the CEAT Ladakh Enduro Park on August 16.

The enduro park is located near the Shanti Stupa in Leh, at an elevation of around 3,600 metres (11,841 feet) above sea level. The purpose-built off-road facility was inaugurated in August 2024 and features a dedicated off-road track and obstacles designed to help riders develop their off-road riding skills such as body positioning, motorcycle control, and obstacle management.

Three-level Training Programme

The CEAT Enduro Park offers a three-level training programme aimed at riders with different levels of off-road riding experience. The courses focus on improving riding technique and control in off-road terrains for beginners, while also offering a recreational off-road track for experienced riders.

CEAT has also partnered with the Ladakh Bike Rental Cooperative Association for a Marshal Training Programme. The programme is intended to train local marshals to guide riders through Ladakh’s high-altitude terrain, and covers training for off-road riding, first aid and CPR, emergency response, motorcycle setup, and more.

The company claims the initiative is also aimed at creating opportunities for local riders to develop skills in competitive riding and professional marshalling.
