KTM 390 Duke Prices increased!

  • Prices increased by up to Rs. 7,000
  • Bigger 390 Duke costs Rs. 3.45 lakh
  • 350cc Duke is pegged at Rs. 2.84 lakh

KTM has increased prices of the 390 Duke standard (350cc) and R (399cc) models in India. Both bikes are now pricier by up to Rs. 7,000. While the standard 390 Duke costs Rs. 2.84 lakh, the more powerful 390 Duke R will set you back by Rs. 3.45 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). Mechanically, the motorcycles remain unchanged.

The new standard 390 Duke’s engine has a shorter stroke, and that has resulted in a mild drop in performance numbers. It produces 40.9bhp and 33.5Nm. The higher-spec R version, with its 399cc motor, churns out 45.3bhp and 39Nm. In the real world, the differences will be felt in terms of acceleration and top speed.

In the rest of the aspects, both bikes remain identical. They weigh 168.3kg (kerb), have a 15-litre fuel tank, offer a seat height of 800mm, and the ground clearance is 183mm. The 17-inch alloy wheels are suspended by fully adjustable USD front forks and rear monoshock, both sourced from WP. A single disc brake at both ends does the speed-shedding duties along with dual-channel ABS with switchability for the rear wheel.

Similarly, the electronics package remains identical with a five-inch TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, 3 ride modes (Rain, Street, and Track), bi-directional quick shifter, cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, launch control, and cruise control.
