Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes To Look Out For

Royal Enfield is expected to launch three new motorcycles in the coming months, and including two new adventure bikes and a cafe racer. Here’s a detailed breakdown of everything we know about the upcoming bikes so far:

Royal Enfield Himalayan 440

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is in the works and is expected to be launched in September 2026. It will be based on the same platform as the Scram 440, with the same 443cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder LS440 engine. In the Scram 440, this motor produces 25.4bhp and 34Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch as standard.

The simple and rugged nature of the Himalayan 411 was loved by enthusiasts who wanted an affordable, yet highway-capable machine. With its discontinuation, many riders were left with no option in the brand’s ADV lineup, except the more expensive Himalayan 450. Now, with the Himalayan 440, Royal Enfield will target these customers. It will likely be positioned between the Scram 440 and the Himalayan 450, with an expected price of Rs. 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will be the brand’s first motorcycle based on the new 750 platform. The new 750 platform is an updated version of the Royal Enfield 650 platform, and could produce more power and torque.

It will be more of a road-biased touring ADV with some light off-roading capabilities. Test mules have been spotted with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy/cross spoke wheels, depending on the variant. The ADV is also expected to feature a ride-by-wire throttle for electronic riding aids like riding modes and a cruise control system.

The Himalayan 750 was spotted testing in the UK and looks production-ready. We expect the bike to be first unveiled at EICMA 2026, with an India launch likely to follow.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 750

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 is the next bike based on the new 750cc platform. The race-spec Continental GT-R 750 made its debut in the 2026 Royal Enfield GT Cup and could be launched soon. The bike has been spotted testing multiple times in the past.

Based on what we know so far, it will be offered in multiple variants as well. The bike has been spotted being tested multiple times in the UK and a few times in India. The Continental GT 750 and the Interceptor 750 are expected to be launched by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
