Simple Energy to Unveil First Family Electric Scooter on September 2

Simple Energy has announced that it will unveil its first family electric scooter on September 2, marking its entry into India’s largest scooter segment. The new model will expand the company’s presence in the electric scooter market beyond its performance segment where it sells the Simple One.

Simple Energy states that the scooter has been developed through the company’s in-house research and development efforts. The scooter is aimed at everyday commuting and will combine practicality, technology, and a user-friendly design.

Simple Energy currently retails the Simple One and recently introduced the Simple Ultra, which claims an IDC-certified range of 400km. The company says the experience gained from developing these products has helped shape the new family scooter.

It is the first Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to commercially produce heavy rare earth-free electric motors and also offers a lifetime warranty on the motor and battery.

More details about the new family electric scooter, including its specifications, features, and pricing, will be announced at its official unveiling on September 2.

The new family scooter is expected to help Simple Energy make inroads in the electric scooter space and have a presence beyond the performance scooter segment. With a number of manufacturers focusing on the family scooter space, considering the sheer size of it, it was only a matter of time before Simple Energy forayed into this space.
